The officer quickly notified Charlestown Dispatch, bringing Charlestown Rescue and Charlestown Fire to the scene.

Upon arrival, crews found a single-vehicle crash with two patients, one heavily trapped. Extrication involved advanced techniques and the dedicated efforts of many team members. Thanks to the seamless collaboration of all public safety personnel on scene, both patients were extricated within 35 minutes from the time of the call.

Both patients were transported to Rhode Island Hospital. Our thoughts are with them and their families.
