| A special thank you to Kelsey and Harry from the Training, Innovation & Leadership Institute for leading such an informative and engaging program. Their insights provided valuable tools and strategies that will help our providers better serve individuals experiencing behavioral health emergencies with compassion, professionalism, and confidence.
As part of the program, CARS was also provided with 20 NaloxBoxes to distribute throughout our community. These publicly accessible boxes contain naloxone (Narcan), a medication that can rapidly reverse an opioid overdose and help save lives. We look forward to working with community partners to place these resources where they can have the greatest impact.
Thank you again to the Training, Innovation & Leadership Institute for investing in rural EMS and helping us continue to improve the care we provide every day. |
